I built this web site as an exercise to see what I was capable of. I have incorporated many ideas that I have found on the www and it has gradually developed into a hobby. Not everything can be included in this site owing to the download time, but I hope to include these in the fullness of time when hardware catches up. My hobbies include reading Fantasy Novels, such as JRR Tolkein and David & Leigh Eddings, making money and flying. Flying is my main interest and I am currently lucky enough to fly regularly with my Managing Director at Henlow Flying Club near Hitchin (www.henlowflyingclub.flyer.co.uk). We usually fly Cessna 150's and 152's in the local area, I have also taken a few lessons and have made several take offs and landings. The Cessna pictured below is the first light aircraft that I flew in and also the Cessna that I took my first lesson in. The highlight of a recent flying evening was going up with an experienced pilot an doing a series of aerobatics - something you have to experience to believe, it's fabulous.

My interest in flying began years ago when I used to fly radio controlled model gliders off Dunstable Downs and at Ivinghoe Beacon. I progressed to radio controlled model helicopters with mixed results. Nothing compares to the real thing though, and I hope to take my PPL (Private Pilots License) when my family is a little older.
